OLD BOYS RUGBY GAME CARTOON
Every Boxing Day two local schools have an Old Boys rugby game at Fylde's ground. It's a great opportunity for everyone to get out of the house after a Christmas day indoors. This year, the game has extra significance as Arnold School and KEQMS are due to merge next year into a new school called AKS. There has been a lot of opposition to the merger, mainly from KEQMS parents, so I couldn't resist having a go at a cartoon to spice things up before the game.

ART JOURNAL UPDATES
I decided to sketch the disused garage just round the corner from my house which I pass most days. It is soon to be demolished for residential development and I often wonder what secrets and memories it holds?
My next sketch was of one of the many beautiful Victorian terraced houses at the heart of Lytham. I love the original sash windows on this one which holds a special meaning to me.

SKETCHBOOK AND ART JOURNAL
Inspired by Art Journalist, Danny Gregory, I decided to start sketching everyday no matter where I am. If I can draw live caricatures, surely I can draw in public? I still felt the twinge of fear and embarrasment as I sat on a bench in Lytham Square and drew the facade of my favourite cafe, Java, and location of my first date with my girlfriend.
Using a black ball point pen and watercolour paper, I just had to commit to the lines and let go of any fear of making a mess of it. Once finished, I took the line drawing home and used water colours from memory to fill it in.
My next target was Strongs fruit and veg shop which always has an amazing display outside. Armed with a pot of tea, I sat in the cafe opposite and started the process again until the cold proved too much.
Now the Lytham Posy Bowl, this building holds fond memories for me growing up as it used to be Henry Street Chippy. I spent alot of my pocket money on gravy and chips here.

Wedding Guest Sign In Boards and Stationery
I'm now able to offer wedding couples with custom caricatures for them to use as a guest sign-in board or for use on their stationary. The sign-in board is offered in a black or white matt only or can be fully framed professionally in white/black/gold/silver. They look fantastic and provide a lasting momento of your wedding day. Guests can leave a comment using a black, silver or gold pen.

DIGITAL DOODLES
I have been learning to draw on a Wacom Cintiq tablet using Painter 12 with varying degrees of success. It is something that does'nt come naturally to me but witht the help and inspiration of fabulous artists such as Cathy McMillan and Angie Jordon, I'm deternined to keep on trying. Here are a few of my efforts.
