WEDDING GIGS!

I have been busy with wedding gigs recently and was lucky enough to draw at two fabulous venues; Langdale Chase, Windermere and Singleton Lodge, Poulton.

STAINING GALA 23RD JULY 2011

I was lucky enough to be invited to attend this years gala and didn't stop drawing for 5 hours straight, except for a single wee break! Despite the sun, the gusty, cool wind froze me to my core and at one point I had to move out of the gazebo for fear it collapsing on me and my clients. Thanks to all my customers who were brave enough to have thiers faces drawn by my icy fingers and make it a successful if somewhat chilly day.

Blog Unblocking

I have been unable to update my blog since March 2011 due to a problem with Internet Explorer but thanks to a Google search and alot of fiddling around, I am now able to post using Firefox instead.

This has been an eventful caricaturing year so far as I have taken the plunge into live caricature work with a big push from The Caricature Boys, Mick, Mike and Wayne at Alton Towers. Since then I have worked at thier booth and at Blackpool Pleasure Beach too.

I'm pushing myself to continue working live at events and have attended such things as the St Georges Family Fun Day in Lytham, Farmer Parrs in Fleetwood, Poulton's Gala Day and Scorton Vintage and Steam Fayre.

I'm booked in to draw at St Annes Carinval on Sunday 10th July and the Cumbrian Steam Gathering 30th-31st July in Grange over Sands. Please feel free to join me!

My next step is to take on the world of digital caricatures which will be a huge challenge I'm sure.
