SOME RECENT LIVE WORK

Blog Unblocking

I have been unable to update my blog since March 2011 due to a problem with Internet Explorer but thanks to a Google search and alot of fiddling around, I am now able to post using Firefox instead.

This has been an eventful caricaturing year so far as I have taken the plunge into live caricature work with a big push from The Caricature Boys, Mick, Mike and Wayne at Alton Towers. Since then I have worked at thier booth and at Blackpool Pleasure Beach too.

I'm pushing myself to continue working live at events and have attended such things as the St Georges Family Fun Day in Lytham, Farmer Parrs in Fleetwood, Poulton's Gala Day and Scorton Vintage and Steam Fayre.

I'm booked in to draw at St Annes Carinval on Sunday 10th July and the Cumbrian Steam Gathering 30th-31st July in Grange over Sands. Please feel free to join me!

My next step is to take on the world of digital caricatures which will be a huge challenge I'm sure.

MY FIRST COLLAGE/MIXED MEDIA PIECE

With the guidance and inspiration of Cathy McMillan, I finally completed my first attempt at a collage using photos, newspaper print and acrylic paint. I had no idea what I wanted to create but just went with the flow. You can check Cathy's awesome work here : http://www.caricaturegirl.blogspot.com/
